Open Access Policy

The Latin American Journal of Applied Research (LJAR) is an open-access journal. All articles are freely available to readers worldwide immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or access barriers. LJAR does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) during its initial publication phase. The journal adheres to the principles of open knowledge dissemination and supports broad access to scientific research.

 

Focus and Scope

LJAR publishes high-quality applied research that contributes practical insights for organizations, institutions, and societies in Latin America and emerging regions. The journal welcomes empirical, experimental, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies across business, innovation, technology implementation, engineering management, organizational development, and educational improvement. Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

 

Copyright Notice

Authors retain copyright over their work and grant LJAR the right of first publication. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits sharing, adaptation, and distribution of the work, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors.

 

Ethics and Editorial Standards

The journal adheres to international guidelines for ethical publishing, as set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). LJAR ensures transparency, editorial independence, and integrity throughout the review and publication process.

 

Peer Review Policy

LJAR uses a rigorous double-blind peer review system. At least two independent reviewers evaluate each manuscript. Reviewers assess methodological soundness, originality, clarity, and relevance, and provide constructive feedback for authors.

 

Sponsorship and Funding Disclosure

LJAR is published by Solidus Academy (Peru), a private organization devoted to promoting scientific advancement in Latin America and emerging economies. Therefore, the journal does not receive external commercial sponsorship, and editorial decisions are made independently from any institutional or financial influence.

 

Archiving and Digital Preservation

LJAR supports digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), ensuring long-term accessibility of published content. Participation in additional preservation networks such as LOCKSS or CLOCKSS will be added as the journal’s technical infrastructure evolves.

 

Privacy Statement

Personal data collected through the journal’s website are used exclusively for editorial and academic purposes. LJAR does not share personal information with third parties. Data protection follows international best practices in scholarly publishing.
